Killington Ski Resort

Killington Ski Resort is the largest Ski resort in the Eastern U.S. spanning eight unique mountain areas if you include Pico Mountain, comprising 28 lifts and approximately 2,000 skiable acres when fully operational.

This expansive lift network, in addition to top of the line snowmaking system, make the Killington Ski area an attraction to many international Ski events, most notably the Women’s Ski World cup. Killington is also a huge Mountain Biking destination for both Vermonters and out-of-state visitors. In fact, Killington Bike Park is one of the fastest growing in New England with 30 miles of trails that accommodate adventure seekers of all levels. Though we would have wished for an early start of Ski season as we have been accustomed to for years, the ongoing Covid circumstances have delayed things a bit this year with the main goal of ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

The good news is we are projected to be open again November 14, 2020. The projected opening date at Pico Mountain is December 19, 2020. This delay in opening will ensure the creation of more skiable acres to allow skiers and snowboarders to spread out more without sacrificing the world class on-snow experience that Killington is known for. Skiing and Snowboarding inherently provide protection since wearing masks, goggles and gloves is the norm. Moreover, the outdoor and physically distanced nature of winter sports puts them at the top of the safest activities to enjoy with family and friends.
